Tasting Notes
Jerôme de la Chaise is an experienced 'vigneron indépendent' and tasting here tends to be a rapid affair as Sauvignon Blanc is the only permitted grape in Quincy, France's second oldest 'appellation contrôlée', and Jerôme makes just the one wine.

Always a bien classique bottling, this Quincy wine has inviting nettley aromas and a palate of juicy, gooseberry fruit offset by racy mineral notes.

Jerôme de la Chaise

Jerôme de la Chaise is a respected and experience vigneron independent in Quincy, making just one wine from the only permitted grape variety, Sauvignon Blanc.

One of only ten producers who grow their own grapes and make their own wines, his Quincy bottling represents the appellation in a very pure light and demonstrates why small, independent producers deserve our support.
