Lirac: Domaine Maby 'La Fermade' Rosé 2017

The Domaine Maby Lirac rosé is made from Rhône staples Grenache Noir and Picpoul. It is more full-bodied than many rosé wines, with a bouquet of bright berry fruit and a full and fruity palate with undertones of rosehips and redcurrants. A deep brick-pink colour and a great food wine, pair it with a broad variety of foods from salmon to charcuterie, and it also lends itself well to Oriental cuisine.

Tasting Notes
It may not have quite the finesse and cachet of the domaine's Tavel but it is a stalwart summer stand-by which is why we also ship it in half-bottles.

Domaine Maby

At Domaine Maby, third generation Rhône winemaker Richard Maby has injected fresh impetus to the family’s 44 hectare estate since relinquishing his job at the Paris Bourse in 2005 and returning to the vineyards of his home. The Maby family and Domaine have a long history of wine-making in Lirac and Tavel, and Richard’s grandfather, Armand, was the Mayor of Tavel.
