Chablis: Domaine Christophe Camu 'Beauroy' Premier Cru 2017

Ratcheting up a gear in rank (and, bien sur, price) from the generic Chablis is Christophe's 'Premier Cru' bottling from the south-facing Beauroy vineyard. A concentrated, expressive Chablis that will stand up well to fish or poultry in creamy sauces and will cellar for a decade.

Tasting Notes
Christophe Camu's 'Premier Cru' Chablis hails from the the Beauroy climat 3 kilometres north east of the town centre.

It has a pale straw colour with floral aromas and a weightier, more complex palate than its junior sibling, with classic 'wet pebble' mineral tastes, rich fruit and a long, dry finish.

Over the past few years he has incorporated into his operation the vines of his mother and step-father (long-standing Yapp suppliers Martine & Patrick Guitton) as they moved into retirement.
